I noticed I've been 18 for quite some time now, while my profile said I was 17. Thus, I updated!
Only thing left to do now is produce some interesting art. It's a good thing the doujinshi is finished and scanned and only needs to be printed (ack! print shops!).

Once it's printed, you should totally come to AnimeCon and buy one. D:

I spent this entire weekend skipping around the largest Anime convention of the Netherlands :3 All our doujinshi pockets have been sold! And there even were some people who wanted to take a picture of me (I was dressed up as Mokona Modoki XD).

Right now I'm too tired (and under the influence of sake) to make a decent journal entry ._.' Forgive me.

Gryphon and Mock Turtle are now available as prints :yay: They only got 2 favorites in about half a year but it's my personal most favorite work XD I'll try to make Platypus into a print but the image is too small right now, I'll have to increase the dpi... and I'm not sure if that'll work out right. Let's hope for the best! *fingers crossed*

I'll update very soon, probably tomorrow... with a fanart of xxxHOLiC!

Skipped school today because I wanted to sleep, I'm such a horrible person... but it was only one class (Modern Japanese Texts, which is important but also fairly easy because it's all about translating and me <3 translating... seriously!).
Ok. I really should work on my doujinshi now... I've got a story and a sketch of the first pages already, but maybe I should work the story out a bit more, like, make a proper scenario or something XD I'm too lazy for this world, I really am.

I only just now noticed that my original Mockturtle (ok, like it was drawn in the Original Book of Alice in Wonderland) has turtle... flap... frontpaw thingies (fins?) and my devID chibi turtle has bovine legs and hooves. Ah, crap <3 and to think that drawing had been laying around for about 3 months before I uploaded it as my ID, and I never ever even noticed.

But I didn't get any comments about it, so yay!

Japanese ink paintings.

I took an extra class this semester about Japanese paintings and it turned out to be very special. Today our teacher gave (yes, GAVE) all students in our class a brush, piece of felt to put under the paper, a beautiful ink cake in a cute box and a paper weight. All for free because these things were leftovers from last year's calligraphy class, but they're all new and very pretty <3

Uploading alot of old *and new!!* stuff again. I went home to my parents for the weekend to scan my stuff for Neutral's next pocket and was supposed to go back to my place yesterday, but buses are still on a strike and my mother wasn't able to bring me to the station in time so I had to stay. And since there's nothing else to do, I might as well scan and upload some drawings and update my page!

I'm enjoying my free time a bit too much, currently spending more time drawing patterns and sewing clothes than actually finishing the comics that are due in a few weeks... But hey, clothes can be art too, right? I might be able to take some nice pictures to show off my *excellent!* handwork (chea right).
But first, lemme enjoy the weather for a few more days...

I got my own scanner this weekend so now there's no valid excuse for not updating anymore... Well, I also got a job now so that might take up some time (but since it's an AWESOME job -official manga translator, for money!- it doesn't actually take up that much of my time).
